Lucy Baile

The natural world is very important to me..I have always known I am part of nature. As a child I roamed woodland & meadows as a farmer's it came naturally to want to do the same as an adult and with my children, in all weathers!

I founded 'Fern' as a forest school in August 2012 ..I'd been working outside with children since 2006. Now, as 'Fern Nature Therapies', I guide groups of children and adults into nature and I also run art/creativity sessions for all, in my garden studio.

I see myself as an enabler, rather than a teacher. 'Learning begins when teaching stops!' - African proverb.

Highest level of Forest School qualification, Ofsted registered, DBS checked, Foundation Plus in Child Protection, Many years experience with SEN children and Autstic and Downs Syndrome adults, Exhibiting artist, Contemporary Modern Painting-Bath University, Foundation in Art Therapy, Art in Education-anthroposophical artistic therapy for children, first aid certificate, full public liability insurance, Steiner Early Years training, Mother of 3.

I LOVE MY JOB. I feel honoured to be able to work in this way.
